Academic Calendar and Tentative Study Plan
The first semester starts in August and the second semester starts in December. Summer session starts in May.
An academic year consists of two semesters of 15 weeks each and a summer of at least 8 weeks in which the duration of study of each subject is equaled to that of a normal semester. To complete the study, total credits earned must be 36 and 1 credit is equivalent to lecture or discussion of one hour throughout a semester of not less than 15 weeks. An independent study is equivalent to 3 credits and a Thesis is equivalent to 12 credits.
