This course examines the role of national sovereignty, territorial sovereignty, the international law making process, and legal peaceful means of dispute settlement process. The roles of international law in modern international economic, political, and environment conflicts. The UN and other international law mechanisms designed for peace and security preservation. The status of states and individuals in seeking lawful means of conflicts resolution under international law, especially in connection with human rights violation.
