This course explores the nature and development of conflicts, types of conflicts and the roles of diplomacy in dealing with and resolving conflicts through negotiation. Theories and concepts of conflict management and peaceful negotiation. Assessment of conflicting situation and issues. Study of success and failure cases in international negotiations. Options and scenarios of solutions applicable to actual cases of various social units.
